Daniel Gómez-Vásquez

Welcome!

I am a PhD Candidate in Economics at Texas A&M University. I am on the 2024-25 job market.

My research interests lie in the economics of labor and education, with a special focus on hiring discrimination, employment dynamics in multi-racial or multi-ethnic settings, informal labor markets, and teamwork cooperation and conflict resolution in diverse groups.

In my work, I use a variety of methods, including laboratory, online, and field experiments, in conjunction with the analysis of survey and administrative data.

Prior to graduate school, I was a Research Assistant and Program Manager at the Rosario Experimental and Behavioral Economics Lab - REBEL and a Research Assistant at the Central Bank of Colombia Research Unit.
